DinExtra provides restaurants with a booking, ordering and payment service via WhatsApp and a web application. For any question about your personal data: contact@dinextra.com
When you use the service as a restaurant customer: your WhatsApp phone number, your name, the content of your messages exchanged with the chatbot, your bookings and orders (dishes, amounts, dates), and your language. Payments are processed by Stripe: we never store your card number.
Your data is processed to deliver the requested service (managing your bookings, orders and payments — performance of the contract), to comply with our legal obligations (invoicing, receipts), and to improve the service through anonymous statistics (legitimate interest). No data is ever sold or used for advertising purposes.
We only use strictly necessary technical cookies (session, security) and anonymous per-session audience measurement, with no identifying data — exempt from consent. Your theme preference is stored locally on your device. No advertising trackers are used; should this ever change, your consent would be requested first.
We share your data with the restaurant you book with or order from, and with our technical processors: Stripe (payments), Meta / WhatsApp (messaging) and our hosting provider located in the European Union. Each only accesses the data necessary for its role.
Data is kept only as long as needed for the service: anonymous browsing data and expired requests are purged automatically, while order and invoicing data is retained for the legally required periods.
Under the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection regarding your data. Write to us at contact@dinextra.com — we reply within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
To request deletion of your personal data, send an email to contact@dinextra.com from any address, stating the WhatsApp phone number used with the service. After verification, all your personal data (profile, messages, bookings, orders) is deleted or anonymised, except for data we are legally required to keep (e.g. invoices). You will receive a confirmation once the deletion is complete.
